I want each of my new page to have header like this https://www.goldyarora.com/test-post/
(i) Transparent Header
(ii) Full Width
(iii) Menu appears only when user scrolls upHow can i configure this in page headers, so instead of making lot of manual changes, i can simply apply page header to my pages to achieve above.
thank you
August 30, 2017 at 8:47 am #376113LeoStaffCustomer SupportHi there,
This is easy if you are using the most recent version of GP premium: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/updating-gp-premium/
Then you can create a page header like that and apply it to all pages in global locations: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/page-header-global-locations/#post-types-–-single
Menu appears on scrolling up is also an option: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/sticky-navigation/#hide-when-scrolling-down
August 30, 2017 at 10:15 am #376197GoldyYes, i tried that, but its not working.
when you create a page header which will later be applied to all/few pages, how do you define these options https://cl.ly/1S1Y1s1o0E3V
August 30, 2017 at 1:37 pm #376334LeoStaffCustomer SupportThere should be a page header meta box with a dropdown list you can select: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/merging-header-navigation-content/#applying-it
August 30, 2017 at 2:20 pm #376352GoldyNot sure you really read the description of the case i put, its not about appylying the page header, its about putting the functionality in the page global page header
i do NOT see these https://cl.ly/1S1Y1s1o0E3V option when creating my page header which i can then apply to all my pages.
August 30, 2017 at 2:32 pm #376357LeoStaffCustomer SupportI did. It was a bit confusing as those two meta boxes have nothing to do with page header.
One is the disable element meta box: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/disable-elements-overview/
The other is the page builder container: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/page-builder-container/
Those would only appear in the Edit Page screen.
August 30, 2017 at 2:34 pm #376358Goldyok, lets do this again then-:
I want each of my new page to have header like this https://www.goldyarora.com/test-post/
(i) Transparent Header
(ii) Full Width
(iii) Menu appears only when user scrolls upHow can i configure this in page headers, so instead of making lot of manual changes, i can simply apply page header to my pages to achieve above.

August 30, 2017 at 2:46 pm #376360LeoStaffCustomer SupportMy reply here should give you just that: https://generatepress.com/forums/topic/question-about-page-header/#post-376113
What hasn’t worked? You don’t need the disable element meta box or page builder container to achieve those.
If you are using Elementor then this should also help: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/merging-header-navigation-content/
August 30, 2017 at 2:52 pm #376363Goldyif i don’t disable element meta box or set page builder container to full width, i get following layout
August 30, 2017 at 2:55 pm #376365LeoStaffCustomer SupportTry the steps here: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/merging-header-navigation-content/
August 30, 2017 at 2:59 pm #376368GoldyThis is what i have in my page header template, and it looks similar to what you pointed in the article.
August 30, 2017 at 3:18 pm #376375LeoStaffCustomer SupportHmm I wonder if the syntax error of
<span><span/>
is causing the trouble. It should be
<span></span>
August 30, 2017 at 3:22 pm #376379Goldyi just changed it, but still seeing the same layout https://www.goldyarora.com/g-suite-setup/
August 30, 2017 at 7:24 pm #376470LeoStaffCustomer SupportAhh you also need to turn on Custom navigation colors and select transparent in the navigation background: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/merging-header-navigation-content/#merging-our-header
Or if you want that on every page, you can actually just do it in the customizer:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/colors-overview/The current navigation background is white.
The header width should set at full as well: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/header-layout/
August 30, 2017 at 7:27 pm #376472LeoStaffCustomer SupportAlso looking at your content, I think you should be using Full Width in Page Builder Container as well.
