Hi there,
so your site is using an old legacy Page Header, and to create the same layout as the website belonging to your wife, you would need to delete that.
But i must state first, if you delete all the old legacy Page Headers, and you’re on the latest version of GP/GPP, you won’t be able to get them back. As the Page Header was deprecated for the GP Elements system. So it is a one way trip… but if you ever change your mind, the same ( existing ) layout can be achieved with Elements.
So the steps to replicate that site:
1. Delete the Page Headers
2. In Customizer > Site Identity – add your Site Title and Tagline which will be the text you currently have over your picture.
3. Customizer > Layout > Primary Navigation and make sure it Location is: Before Header
4. Customizer > Layout > Blog -> Featured Images -> Page (TAB) and set the Location to Above Content Area
.
5. Edit any Page you want the Image to be displayed and set the Image as the Featured Image.
