problem creating drop down in top menu

You can delete the top widget WP navigation Block afterwards.

The final problem now is deleting the top widget block. I have tried to do this in Customize view and also under the Appearance at the backend. I don't want to delete the wrong menu. Please direct me to where I should go

The WP Navigation Block can be deleted in Appearance > Widgets > Top Bar.
