I am using Google Chrome Version 77.0.3865.75

That’s very weird. Do you have another computer to test by any chance?
Do you get the same issue if you temporarily activate a WordPress default twenty series themes?

Just activated the default twenty series theme, the issue still there but when I use another computer to check, the issue is gone.
Does that mean is my computer that causes this issue? will computer do that?
Yeah I think that tells us the issue is something specific to that computer unfortunately.
Software can definitely be weird like this.

You could try re-installing Chrome and restarting the computer and see if it somehow fixes it.
Another solution would be trying Firefox.

having the same issue. Thought it was a plugin at first. Saw the Chrome thing on twitter. Thanks for the confirmation. In Firefox for now but I hope they fix asap
