[Resolved] PHP Warning GP Premium Plugin then website crashes HTTP 500 ERROR “URGENT”

I am getting this [10-Aug-2020 12:56:21 UTC] PHP Warning: Invalid argument supplied for for each() in /home2/kristanz/public_html/wp-content/plugins/gp-premium/colors/functions/.functions.php on line 1327 . Then after many errors my website crashes. What I notice is after so many errors the WP-load.php file becomes ZERO or empty. I already contacted the hosting provider replace core files, increase PHP memory limit, tried disabling plugins. We also check for malware but zero results.

Now I got HTTP error 500. Please help me

Hi David. Thank you for your message. It loads with unusual speed. It loads really slowly on me. Google pagespeed showing error on mobile speed test. Not the usual speed. I am getting the errors on error-log.php- so many of them. And when the error is so many it gets http 500 error. The hosting provider couldn’t resolve the issue. I gave them enough time but they told me they exhausted all efforts. They were telling me that the issue is on the gp-premium plug-in.

I really have no idea if PHP warnings can really be a cause of 500 HTTP Error. What I noticed is that when error accumulates like this the next error is on wp-blog header. Then the wp-load.php file becomes empty. Thats the time it gets 500 HTTP error

Those errors are pointing to a line in a file within your theme and plugin folder eg.

/wp-content/themes/generatepress/.generatepress.php on line 1640

But those files should not be there – they are not part of GeneratePress. I would recommend running some security and malware scans on the site.

one thing else im not getting this many errors from a client’s site built with generatepress in other hosting provider. All my subdomains and main domain are getting too many PHP error in my main hosting provider.

We did a malware scan with my hosting provider but zero findings. I also scan via sucuri sitecheck website and my plugin wordfence. There are no findings.. Do you have any suggestions?

Those files should definitely not be there.
I can only suggest that you remove the GP theme and the GP plugin via FTP and re-install them.
Your settings should save to the Database – but to be safe you may want to do this after making a backup

Thanks for your suggestions David. I would relay that to the hosting provider. That’s an important point. Hmm. I think that I did that already reinstalled gp theme and gp plugin. I see PHP error with other plugins too if gp premium and theme is deactivated. First i deactivate all plugin and switched to twenty theme. Then it shows error on twenty theme. Now if i activate one of the plugin. Now it shows the error on that plugin. And so on. I already reinstalled new version of WordPress in that case. I really don’t know what to do now. If this problem exists, Ill probably create a new website with new database.

It sounds like the entire site has been infected. Which would require the site to be repaired or rebuilt. You may want to talk to WordFence as they provide these type of services.
