Parallax effect in featured image not working?
17 replies · Started by Travis on December 7, 2019
I've used the Element Editor (Page Hero) to make the Featured images parallax, but the effect isn't rendering on the page... are there any other specific settings or pitfalls that I may be missing? Or any workarounds?
Many of the other topics I've seen are referring to former versions and I'd like to get this figured out, esp. if it doesn't require custom coding.
Hi there,
Your site requires a login and password to view.
Any chance you can unlock it or provide the info so we can see the issue?
You can see how it is supposed to work here:

Let me know :)
I included them as the url strings in the url provides - does that work?
Please send it through Account Issues here:

It's fine - I was just trying to be clever. I've disabled the l/p.
Which page can I see a page hero?
The homepage - I adjusted the setting for featured images across the site to be parallax, and it doesn’t seem to be working...
There is no code for a page hero for the front page.
Are you sure you created one of these?

I do see a headline-title div which isn't coming from GP.
I created one, selected featured image, selected parallax, and selected entire site - what else needs to be done? I thought I followed those instructions, but apparently not...
Did you add any content?
Make sure to take a look at #1 here:

Ah, I misunderstood that. Thanks.
No problem :)
Sorry, I put a commented out piece of code in the Page Hero and it's still not working - I feel like I'm missing something rather basic here...
I'm still not seeing the code for a page hero.
Have you added the front page under the display rule?
The entire site is listed under display rules - would it be easier to just create credentials for you to be able to take a look?
