Pagination category problem

Hi,
I have been experiencing problems with category pagination. In this category https://carreteraycamper.com/blog/viajes/ with 11 post, if you click on the second page https://carreteraycamper.com/blog/viajes/page/2/ doesn´t work. It shows 404 page.
But if I put manually https://carreteraycamper.com/viajes/page/2/ works properly. How can I fix it?
I change permalinks for one good reason so, what can I do?
The good one must be https://carreteraycamper.com/blog/viajes/page/2/
But i don´t know why only works with this url https://carreteraycamper.com/viajes/page/2/
Hi Rebeca,
Can you try disabling all plugins except GP premium to test?
I wonder if there's a plugin alters the permalink.
Done and only with GP Premium still persist the problem.
I can see that the SEO plugin and cookie pluing are still on, not sure about others.
Maybe try clear cache?
Ahhh yes I test by myself and I have activated it again so as not to have the page destroyed for a long time. It´s difficult to do it without not knowing when will you be able to watch it.
No worries.
If you can create a staging site for us to have look at and do some testing in the backend, it will be very helpful.
Let me know :)
I don´t know how to do it. Can you help me? Now I´m ready to deactivate plugins for you to test it.
Hi Rebeca,
Can you try rebuilding your permalinks? Just go to Settings > Permalinks and hit save. Try different permalink settings as well and see how it goes.
If that doesn’t work, here are steps to create a staging site for testing: https://generatepress.com/forums/topic/pagination-category-problem/#post-2303703
I change permalinks as you told me and that´s it, the problem has fixed it. But when I try to go back to the initial configuration the problem returns. As I say in my first message I have changed permalinks since the beginning of my web for good reasons so, what can I do?
GeneratePress has no control over the pagination and the permalinks. It’s all controlled by WordPress itself.
It would be best to reach out to WordPress with regards to this: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
I found this though which may help: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/30108550/wordpress-category-php-pagination-404-errors#:~:text=This%20sounds%20very%20similar%20to%20what
Problem solved with the solution you found on the last web.
Thank you so much
You’re welcome Rebeca!
