Page Hero on Blog Summary page

ive looked through other somewhat relevant posts but cant get it working for me.
how do i get a page hero to show on the BLOG posts page. (the one that shows blog posts?)
ive checked to make sure its excluded from other page heros and have these items set
display on: Post Archive
Blog
pages: results
Ive excluded the BLOG page from the other one that applies to the rest of the site.
still no love.
I would forgo using the blog if there was a way to include other pages into boxes like you do with the blog posts on this layout (started with the mellow theme)

Can you link us to the blog page?
Could you make sure the "blog page" has been assigned as a blog page? Check customizer > Homepage Settings.

Hi Ying i did link the page however i may be changing tactics on the page now so i changed it since they seem to want 2 main categories then blog posts so i am going to set it as an actual page instead with links to the categories... i think. ill let you know if we change back. but so i know ive created a new test page linked to show you
actually i changed it again see link in this one.

According to the screenshot, there's no header element assigned to blog.
If you'd like the page hero shows on blog, then choose blog under location.
yes it is right there post archives
im not talking about blog pages, im talking about the blog summary pages that contains all the blog posts....
Then can you link me to the "blog summary pages"? I'm not sure what pages you are referring to.

Hi there,
in your Display Rules > Location for the header element you have to select Blog - it an exclusive display rule just for your blog page.
tried that before and added it again now, still nothing. i removed the other rules too just to see.

So you are talking about the blog page as the "blog summary page" :)
Like me and David said, choose Blog as the location for the Element Outcomes Hero.
