disabling the “place content behind header” option has worked a treat too. I should have known about that one as I’ve played around with and had issues with that before 🙂

What do you have set for your button font size in Customize > Typography > Buttons?
I don’t have a customize>Typography>Buttons, or a buttons options in any of the sub menus. Every font size in all the typography settings is sensible too.

For now, you can upgrade to the GP 1.3.49 beta (the theme): https://tomusborne.com/dev/temp/generatepress.zip
This plugin will allow you to overwrite the theme without having to delete it: https://en-ca.wordpress.org/plugins/easy-theme-and-plugin-upgrades/
If there are bugs to be found, it’s usually me that finds them 🙂
Anyway, running the theme beta and it’s all working again, thanks. I’ll keep any eye out for any other issues.
Have you got an idea when these two beta releases will be production ready? I’m looking to launch my updated site to coincide with a product release at the end of August.
Both are planned to be released this week 🙂
