    In changelog I read this:
New: Flexbox layout option – see blog post for more info
    – where’s that please?

In Customizer, under General I read this:
    Dynamic CSS Print Method
Generating your dynamic CSS in an external file offers significant performance advantages
    – any more details about that?
    – what happens if already minimizing and combine CSS with a cache plugin – how to proceed?

    Thanks.

    Hi there,

It likely won’t make a massive difference if you’re already using a caching plugin, but it may be worth running some performance tests – you might notice a slight increase in performance if the CSS is being added to a static CSS file.

    Thanks Tom, I understand this.
But I was mainly wondering whether the switch to an external CSS file would cause any issues for sites that are already using a plugin like Fastest Cache with minification and combine settings running.

In short: whatever the performance, is it safe to switch for existing sites with cache plugins?

There should be no issues switching to external files when using another cache plugin. You will of course need to cleat the caches after that change OR i personally would probably disable the cache plugin before making the change.
