New issue with the width of the content in the WP Editor (Wordpress 6.1)

A few days ago I had a related problem that you resolved by fixing a bug in GeneratePress.

Now I found something similar and I am not sure if I am formatting things the wrong way. I hope you can help me.

This is the website: Site

The issue:
I have set up general Content settings in the WP Customizer. Most pages use those settings.
For some other pages I have created a Layout with Elements that should override some of the general settings.
On the live preview it works, and the page looks exactly how I want it to look.
But in the Wordpress Editor, the content looks very narrow and difficult to work with it.

My guess is that I am adding a big padding in the customizer and then a big padding in the editor, but with the Layout Element I am overriding the Customizer padding. I did not have this problem before updating to Wordpress 6.1, by the way.

Here are some screenshots:

  1. Customizer settings
  2. What a standard page would look like with those settings
  3. My new Elements Layout Settings to override the Customizer settings
  4. This is what the live page looks like
  5. This is what it looks like in the Wordpress 6.1 editor

I have already cleaned the cache and deactivated all plugins but GeneratePress and GenerateBlocks.
I left some guest credentials in the private area in case you guys need to have a look.

Thanks a lot.

Hi there,

I'm not able to log in with those details. Can you double-check?

Let me know :)

Hi,

Sorry I must have copied something wrong. Here's the details again.

Hi there,

I just wanted to let you know that I modified my Elements layout and now everything looks good in the Wordpress Editor.

I just made it full width and added the padding I needed in a container in the editor. It makes more sense this way and doesn't add weird paddings.

Thanks!

No problem! I was trying to reproduce this issue on my end but it was hard to replicate. I'll keep trying to see if I can improve the width calculations.
