Just did the update on the plugins.
Is there somewhere you have a list of what was changed/added?
Thanks!
Hi Kevin,
You can find all changelogs here: https://generatepress.com/category/development/
Thanks.
You're welcome :)
I'm getting the following error message when I attempt to apply the GP Pro update:
Downloading update from **
An error occurred while updating GP Premium: Download failed. error:0D0890A1:asn1 encoding routines:ASN1_verify:unknown message digest algorithm
WP 4.4 running under MAMP 1.9.6
Looks like it may be something with your MAMP set up: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/cannot-update-my-wordpress-version
Hello Tom
Also have problem with updating.
Aktualizacja wtyczki „GP Premium” (1/1)
Pobieranie aktualizacji z **
Wystąpił błąd przy aktualizacji GP Premium: Pobieranie nie powiodło się. Unauthorized
May the problem occur because we moved our site to different domain?
Hi there,
That's exactly why the problem is occurring.
This should help: https://generatepress.com/forums/topic/an-error-occurred-while-updating-download-failed-unauthorized/#post-146895
Thanks Tom, actually i dont have option to activate or deactivate the email, maybe becasue i use child theme, but i deleted and copied again the licence key and it worked. Premium plugin updated.
Thanks a lot as always
I tried deauthorizing and reauthorizing GP Premium, switching to another theme, restarting the computer and MAMP, all to no avail. I think this problem began with the WP 4.4 update.
The error you're getting isn't the same as the unauthorized one.
Did you check out Otto's reply in this thread?: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/cannot-update-my-wordpress-version
Turns out this may be one of the WP 4.4 bugs that's documented on WordPress.org's support forums at https://wordpress.org/support/topic/read-this-first-wordpress-44-master-list
Plugins and Themes Won't Update
An exceptionally small subset of users have reporting that after upgrading they cannot update plugins and themes. As of yet we have found no rhyme or reason for that to happen, but we are looking. If you’re having this issue, please provide as MUCH detail about your server as possible (OS, PHP version and flavor, etc). For now, you can "update" plugins and themes by deleting and installing the latest version. An official fix is in progress: https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/34976
The problem with updating GP or GP Premium this way is that I have to export all my settings every time there's an update.
Hi there,
You don't need to import or export all of your settings - you can manually update GP Premium by deleting the old version and uploading the new.
Your settings are stored in your database, which isn't touched when you delete or install the plugin.
Let me know if you need more info :)
