Could you please send me the link of the secure form. By the way, I created a staging website and deactivated Gutenberg plug in as advised by my host, and the custom setting was restored. So how can I fix Gutenberg plug in so I can continue to use it without disrupting the layout of my posts?

WP’s default editor is Gutenberg, technically speaking you do NOT need to install this plugin unless you want to try the newest but maybe unstable Gutenberg features.

Ok thank you. I figured out that deactivating it hasn’t affected my website layout. So I guess I should stay away from Gutenberg plugin for now. However, I’m wondering how my website manages stay intact with Gutenberg plugin until recently?

The Gutenberg Plugin is effectively a constantly updated Beta version of the block editor.
It should only be used for development sites, where developers can check out (possible) future features and do bug testing.
So with every update there is potentially new bugs being introduced.

So yes, DO NOT use it on a live site 🙂
