the posts are standing one after the other in the categories. The writing is corrupted inside. What is the reason for this? It was smooth before. do i need to fix this immediately?

If I run the demo importer again, will the problem be fixed? What settings do I need to back up? Will my component settings be corrupted? Or maybe there are corruptions in the h tags in the content? Will the additional css I add be lost?

Hi Oguz,
Do you mean re-importing the Site Template? If so, you might lose some sections you created.
Updating shouldn’t cause this. Can you try #1 here to debug: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/debugging-tips/
It’s recommended to backup your site before proceeding with this.

I removed all the plugins one by one, but I activated them one by one, the problem was not solved
All I did was update the theme. I didn’t do anything else.Other category pages other than the home page are working fine. What is the problem with the home page?

Why is the home page not showing properly when the category pages are working? please help me fix this.

Can you provide admin login credentials so we can take a closer look at the issue?
Please use the Private Information field for this: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/using-the-premium-support-forum/#private-information

Of course I can provide. I added it to the private information field.

That’s odd. Something’s changing the structure.
Do you have a staging site where you can keep the plugins disabled? We’ll check what the site looks like with all non-GP plugins disabled.

unfortunately. I don’t have a prep site. but which plugin will affect it in plugins?. already 4 of them are directly related to seo. How can seo plugin break the homepage?
Let’s assume the home page has been corrupted. Why is the category page working properly?
Can’t we solve the problem without leaving all the plugins disabled? Or do I need to take all the backups and install my other site?April 6, 2023 at 12:25 am #2599018Oguz
like I told you. I just updated the theme. It was also an SEO plugin. I didn’t make any other changes.
Like you, I am astonished. but somehow only the homepage should be fixed. am I wrong ?April 6, 2023 at 12:54 am #2599051Fernando Customer Support
This is the first time I believe we have encountered this as well.
Seeing the site with no other plugins active may help us see what’s causing the issue. A plugin like perfmatters for instance may be one potential cause but we can’t be certain unless we see it firsthand. What’s happening is not supposed to happen, and the update shouldn’t have caused this. We’ll need to investigate a bit further.

So I took a backup. Can you try one by one on the site to find the problem. Although the site is affected in terms of SEO and other aspects, it is not a problem. This issue needs to be resolved urgently.

or last resort. Delete the imported demo. If we import it again, will it be fixed? did you try it last? sure try if you can back up the settings. because when it is fixed, not only additional css , and settings such as elements will come with the backup, but the whole site will be backed up. I have all the spares. I would like to remind you that I do not take separate backups. and the backup is the current corrupt backup.
There is a backup of the current image. In short, there are full backups, not separately, such as additional css etc.April 6, 2023 at 4:08 am #2599279David
StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
there is a Code Block on your blog page that has an adscript inside it. Do you know how that got there ?
If so can you remove it, as it may contain broken HTML which in turn will break the layout. -
