[Support request] Issues with page duplication

Hmmm… sonds like Elementor doesn’t play well with duplication – may have to resort to the method they provide here:

Hi David,

Yes, it works! I can save it as a template and implement it once I delete the “broken” layout it generates when duplicating.

Anyway, I still think that the problem could be in the template. Because with other GP templates I am using (Service and Peak) the duplication function works correctly and I am using Elementor too.

Anyway, your help allows me to advance with my projects but, in my opinion, it is still a ‘patch’ (I don’t know if it has sense in English) and not a definitive solution.

I really cant say what the issue – in the past the Duplicate Post plugin ( now Yoast Duplicate Post ) always worked as long as it was Copied to Draft ( and not Cloned ).

Maybe the update to Elementor 3.0 has caused some side effect issues with pre-3.0 built sites.
It might be worth asking Elementor support.
