[Support request] Image size in post hero background images

Hello!

Trying to get the file size down for the featured images which are being added to the background of a container through a page hero element. I followed the directions in this support topic: https://generatepress.com/forums/topic/post-hero-image-loads-full-size-image/ but looking at the page source, the full image URL seems to still be loading on mobile. I’ve cleared caches, etc.

Maybe it’s working now and I didn’t realize it. I was getting a “POOR” LCP score but it seems ok now. If there is a better way to accomplish the same header, let me know. I have GP Pro and GerateBlocks Pro.

For that kind of hero, the background image works bests, and you’re preload method is the best solution to improve the LCP 🙂
