    Hello,

I’ve read and tested a lot (For example this and this), but I can’t find a solution. I want to install a header image for all posts with GP, as you can read here: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/merging-header-navigation-content/

I followed all the steps, but nothing is happening. My setup looks like this:

    1) http://prntscr.com/jphzi0
    2) http://prntscr.com/jphzn3
    3) http://prntscr.com/jphzag

And the result looks like this: http://prntscr.com/jpi01o

So the menu and the settings are taken over, but no header image appears. It’s true: I use Elementor for single landing pages, but for all global styles like headers and footers, I use GP. If the password is necessary I can send it via email. Since it’s a test environment, I don’t want to post this publicly.

Have you tried enabling “Add Background Image” in the Page Header settings?

Does it appear when you disable Elementor for the single posts?

Hi Samuel, as Sridhar suggests, you need to select Add Background Image from the Content box on the Page Header. let us know.

Yeah, that works. Thanks for your help!

Can the whole thing be made a little more dynamic? So now I always have the same picture for all posts. Can I set the whole thing so that a post image appears at the top of the header? So this one here: http://prntscr.com/jpikb9

For archives and search results I find this global solution very pleasant. But for individual posts or pages I would like to assign different pictures. Is that possible?

Glad you got it resolved Samuel – for other users: If you don’t add an image to the Page Header but select Add Background Image in the Content tab it will use the Featured Image of the page / post.
