How to remove padding at the bottom below footer?
24 replies · Started by Charbel on January 18, 2021
Hello @Tom,
I need to remove the padding space below the Black Footer please.
I found a CSS style that creates the padding at the bottom. The CSS is being applied to the "body" element. This is being applied for the homepage as well as for single post.
My site is: https://charbelnemnom.com
Many Thanks!

Hi there,
Are you referring to this CSS here?
body {
padding-bottom: 100px;
height: auto;
}
That's not something added by GP.
You have caching plugin turned on so I can't tell where it's coming from.
Please check the Additional CSS field in the customizer first, if that doesn't help, then try disabling all plugins except GP Premium.
Thank you @Leo for your quick support, much appreciated.
Yes, I am referring to this CSS:
body {
padding-bottom: 100px;
height: auto;
}
I have WP Rocket Caching enabled. I want to find out which plugin is causing it please.
I don't have something in the additional CSS field related to this.
Thanks!
I'm still seeing WP Rocket activated in the source code after clearing my cache.
I want to find out which plugin is causing it please.
Try disabling all plugins except GP Premium to test.
I have disable WP Rocket Cache. Could you please check again @Leo?
Many Thanks!
Please try disabling all plugins except GP Premium test first.
Thanks!
Charbel, unless I'm missing something here, you've got an ad placeholder there - Ezoic is putting it there.
Thank You @paddyd!
Yes, this looks from Ezoic side Anchor Ad placeholder.
I am checking with them.
Thanks!
Glad to hear :)
Hello @Leo,
Please I need your help again.
After long day of troubleshooting this issue with EZOIC support. We found out that if you use Firefox you don’t see any extra white space at the bottom. However, if you try with Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge you can see the white space.
Why on Firefox there is no Extra Space and with Google/Edge we can see it?
Could you please check and confirm from your side?
Many Thanks!

Looks like the issue is resolved?
I just tested with Chrome, Firefox and Edge and don't see the space in all the browsers.
You will need to follow up with the plugin support if you experience more issues with this.
Hello @Leo,
No, the issue is not resolved.
With Firefox there is no Extra Space and with Google/Edge we can see it.
Please note that @Tom told me to install the alpha release of WP Show Posts. I am using Version 1.2.0-alpha.3 to solve one of my previous issue with WPSP.
I'm not sure why is not showing in the Firefox. But it's only showing on the homepage, so must be due to WPSP.
Please note that this issue is only visible on WPSP pages and not anywhere else.
Example WPSP issue: https://charbelnemnom.com/page/2/
Article no issue: https://charbelnemnom.com/finding-azure-resources-with-diagnostic-settings-enabled-with-powershell/
Author Page no issue: https://charbelnemnom.com/author/charbel-nemnom/
Please help.
Thank You!
Here is the instructions by @Tom about installing WPSP the latest development version.
This is what I see using Google Chrome and there is no space underneath it:

Can you make sure the browser cache is cleared?
Thank you @Leo,
Could you please try to browse with Google Chrome to page 2 or 3:

I cleared the browser cache from my side and I used different computers as well. It's the same!
