How GP Premium work on WP multisites

Dear Sir/Madam,
I have a WP multisites and installed the GP Premium, could you explain how it works with the multisites, I find I need to enter the licensee key for individual sites, does it mean I have to purchase the license for every sites even they are under the multisites with same domain?
Please explain what I should have and how I manage the update for each site?

Hi Kelvin,
One license can be used for up to 500 sites.
With that said, you don’t need to purchase new licenses for every site you have under your domain or from a different domain. You can use the same license key you have for all.

Thanks for your reply. How does GP count the license for 500 sites, per domain or per WP sites, as you know, multisite can work with sub folders but individual administration?
Regarding the plugin update, is it a global update or an individual update? If I want to have the same footer customisation, how can I do it?

Hi there,
the license gets attached to the WP URL for each install, and to the best of my knowledge that applies to Multisite folders.
