I found out my mobile menu doesn’t work. Something opens but it is shown as a white plane. So I tried to turn off all plugins and see if that made a difference. And it as de GP Premium plugin version 1.11.3 that seemed to cause it. Disabled everything works, activated problem back. I uploaded the newer beta version, still the same problem.
What can I do to keep using GP Premium and have my mobile menu back?September 26, 2020 at 11:41 am #1460220Tom
Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperHi there,
It seems like the dropdown arrows have been removed from your navigation – have you added any custom functions to do that? If so, does the issue persists if you remove that function?
Also, right now the Off Canvas Panel is opening, but it has no menu applied to it: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/off-canvas-panel-overview/#empty-off-canvas-navigation

Yes! The off canvas function was what was off. So the mobile menu is back.
And yes the mobile dropdown menu is gone. Yesterday that was another issue due to the Digital Access Pass (DAP) plugin. And adding a code was the advise and that worked.

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperI believe the main issue here is in DAP – removing the arrows was just a test to see if it would fix the problem, but it’s certainly not a complete solution. It would be better if DAP looked into why it’s necessary to remove that filter as it’s a pretty simple core filter: https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/hooks/nav_menu_item_title/
It may be worth reporting to them again – if enough people mention it then they should at least have one of their developers dig into it a little.

Just for your information and future reference.
DAP answered with the solution, and no problems anymore:Please visit dap admin -> setup -> config page
Under “WordPress Related” section, look for “Show protected (and not-dripped-yet) links in menu”.
And set it to “YES”.September 27, 2020 at 10:49 am #1461268Tom
Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperGlad you got it working! π
