I installed Twenty Twenty One theme in the staging site, can you activate that to test?

Yep…. but I have scripts being added via Elements so will need to install a header script plugin

I see. In your live site, you’re using a Child theme. Is there anything there you’ve added necessary for the Animation to work?

As it’s not working in a default WordPress theme, the issue might not entirely be related entirely to the update of GeneratePress. Does the Animation work on GP 3.1.3 with the Parent Theme activated?

Whew…. I got it. It needs onload=”init();” in the body tag.

Now added to header.php in the child theme. Thanks for your help.
