Andrew
Hey folks…
I have a site with a header animation – created in Adobe Animate. (I’m not a huge fan but the client insisted and I’m stuck with it.)
Over the weekend we noticed the animation completely disappeared. No console errors… it just became invisible (??) after about 5 hours of debugging I’ve narrowed it to a recent GP update – specifically the jump from 3.1.3 to 3.2.0. All other plugins disabled (locally) but problem persists.
I’ve now back-dated the theme to 3.1.3 but would love to edit my code to future-proof it. Any ideas what might be causing this?

Hi Andrew,
Do you have a staging site? If not, will you be able to start one and update GP there to the latest version so we can check the issue out first hand?

Hi Fernando. Yes I have a staging site but it’s local. I can duplicate it tomorrow if you want a look.
Unfortunately I don’t have the domain so can’t just spin up a staging subdomain.I can break the animation and fix it by going between 3.1.3 and 3.2.0

I see. We’ll need to see the issue first hand so we can observe what’s occurring. Let us know if you’ll be able to start a staging site, or you can temporarily implement it on the live site.

No problem. Set up a staging site with a new login. Thanks for your help.

Thank you! Can you try disabling on non-GP plugins on the Staging site to test?

Sure. Done.
Just GP and GB active now.
The animation is a small bit of JS in an element.

Can you provide access to the live site as well so we have a basis for comparison?
