Thank you I will!
OK :)
juts done the update on one of my sites :
The widget padding on the left, top is 0..it is set to 15px in the customizer at the same time but it ignores it.
Any chance you can create a new topic with the link to your site?
Thanks!
Hello Tom, can you tell me what minimum required version is of CURL?
Thats what my hosting provider asks me.
I might have to start with a new empty hosting package, thats what they tell me. I don't really inderstand why. I really don't know how to publisch my site on that new one and I don't know if everything will work then. I am not so good with these kind of things.
I received the same error message but manually uploaded GP Premium to get it to work. Robin, are you hosted with GoDaddy by any chance? I am and they tell me the server I'm on is 10 years old and that I need to switch to their new cPanel hosting platform. (They will be requiring this of all old, long-term customers at some point.) I will be required to set up all of my websites once the new server is established. Or I can pay them $100 per website to do the migration for me...
Hi Tom,
thanks for the update.
having transparent backgrounds is really nice, it would be great to have it in the sections as well.
I think I found a bug:
It seems like something is wrong with slogan aka .site-descrption.
I can´t change font via customizer. Changing color works, but is lost as soon as I change font.
No my hosted by https://denit.nl/
I am also running on a server that is from 2007, thats what they told me.
How can I manually uploaded GP Premium? I will just do that for now.
You'll need to use an FTP program like FileZilla to upload the plugin to the "wp-content/plugins" folder on the server. You'll first want to deactivate the current GP Premium plugin and delete it; then upload the new plugin. I have forgotten one step -- you'll need to download the 1.2.93 version from your account here on generatepress.com.
Hope this makes sense.
Hello Tom, I have an error updating:
GP Premium upgrade failed: Could not create gp-premium / colors / functions / alpha-color-picker directory
Robin - you can see the specs needed here: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/update-errors-with-certificate-subject-name/#specs
To manually update, this might help: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/updating-gp-premium/#manually-updating
Marc - can you create a new topic and include a link to your website? Make sure you're using GP 1.2.93.
Luciano - this should help: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/updating-issues/#could-not-copy-file
So what is the update procedure here? I did Appearance > GeneratePress clicked the update button but it doesn't update. I repasted my license key and still doesn't update.
Thanks for your help.
Hey Tom,
Just installed the updates at https://adpaonline.org and now my sidebar padding settings via Layout - Sidebars is no longer having any effect. Any ideas?
Thanks!
David - this might help: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/updating-gp-premium/
Scott - sorry about that, that issue has been fixed. The update will be within the next hour :)
GP 1.3.43 has been released which fixes some bugs introduced in 1.3.42: https://generatepress.com/gp-1-3-43/
