Google Maps not rendering in tabs > help with editing functions.php?

Dear GeneratePress Support Team,

I'm using GeneratePress 1.3.46. as the ChildTheme you provide here: https://generatepress.com/forums/topic/child-theme-download/

The problem (1):
I need to show Google Maps inside a tabs plugin (https://wpshopmart.com/plugins/tabs-pro-plugin/), however I run into a rendering problem with "Advanced Google Maps Plugin for Wordpress" (https://codecanyon.net/item/advanced-google-maps-plugin-for-wordpress/5211638)

Any Google Maps from any GM plugin would not get rendered in any WP-tabs-plugin due to the missing code in functions.php.

The problem (2):
On trying to edit and add the required code line to the GeneratePress Child Theme's functions.php I am referred to the higher-level parent theme's functions.php.
However editing this file's code is well beyond my skills.

Therefore I am asking your help or advice in making Google Maps work inside Tabs and Modals in GeneratePress.
