Google doesn't get favicon

does the icon show ok in the browser tabs for you ? If it does then it may just require a little waiting time for Google to find it.

Yes, I see the icon in the browser tab.
I think the problem has been going on for quite some time.
I used to see it on Google but now I noticed it disappeared ( I see the default hosting icon )

The Favicon is a WP core feature.

It seems that there was already a favicon.ico in my root folder (the default hosting one)
Maybe it was overwriting the Wordpress one, I'm deleting it and wait!

Perhaps after doing that, you can also try to request Google to recrawl your site: https://developers.google.com/search/docs/crawling-indexing/ask-google-to-recrawl
