Hi
How can I shorten the footer in the element?
Hi Simone,
Can you link us to your site and explain a bit more about your question?
Thanks!
Hi Ying,
Sure, I've created a footer with an element, not with the widgets in the customization section.
It's too high, I want it to be lower.https://zennailsbar.co.il/
The container of the footer content has 120px bottom padding, try reduce it:

And the headline block has a huge top margin:

Hi Ying,
Can you show me where to reduce the bottom padding? I didn't find the setting in the element and neither in the customization.
It's in the element, you need to select the container/headline block to see the paddings option under the Spacing tab (on the right side of the editor).

No matter what I do, I can't reduce the width of the container. Can you send me a short tutorial? I've tried every way and it doesn't move.

I can’t reduce the width of the container
So you want to reduce the height and also width?
To reduce width, select the container, set Container and inner container width both to contain.
https://docs.generateblocks.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/GB-Container-Width.gif
Then you can enter a container width, eg: 1015px.
Hi Ying,
YES< I WANT TO REDUCE THE HEIGHT OF MY CONTAINER!
THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS SHORT TUTORIAL< BUT IT"S STILL DOESN'T WORK!

So just height, no width? You are really confusing me Simone...
If just height, I've already answered here:

And I didn't see anything changed since this reply.
Hi Ying,
I need more help, please. I said it doesn't change anything. My footer height doesn't move. What can I do about this?
Can you send the dashboard access so I can take some screenshots for you?
Hi Leo, Sure.
The first step is to open up the block navigation and remove the first container.
It's currently empty and just taking up space.

Let me know when it's done.
Ok, I removed it: https://www.screencast.com/t/iBuKIac0kOr1
