Font-awesome Not loading

Hi Tom,
For some strange reason font-awesome has suddenly stopped working on the site I'm building, it was working fine then suddenly the facebook icon I had added to Footer Widget 1 is not displaying.
This is the code thats in the footer widget:

You're loading font awesome essentials, which only loads the icons necessary for GP.
If you want to use other icons, you need to load the entire library.
Sorry I dont quite understand, I just tried adding the markup from the generatepress site and it still doesnt display.
How do I use the fa facebook icon that comes with GP?

You've added that filter which removes Font Awesome and only loads the necessary icons for GP to work.
Oh ofcourse! - I completely forgot I'd added that. I read your article about Optimizing GP and added that function thinking I wouldnt need to use icons.
