    Hi,

I moved content from my local to my production instance and noticed that the domain is saved inside the export. I couldn’t find a way to replace it afterwards, replacing all occurrences inside the DB didn’t work.

I had to manually edit the export file and import it again.

It would be nice if the export wouldn’t contain the domain, but the relative path, or even better, the image ID instead of an URL.

In my case we’re talking about

    – footer_widget_image
    – footer_image
    – header_image
    – nav_image
    – mobile_header_logo

According to Tom’s post 2 years ago, this should be fixed since GPP 1.10.

    Hi there,

The export itself needs to contain the domain, but it would be nice if the import automatically replaced it for you. We’ll see if that’s something we can add.

Doing a database search/replace will definitely fix the issue, though. This is a great plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/better-search-replace/
