Hi, I have managed to change the color of my navigation for the sticky nav, now the last thing is also changing the image on the sticky nav. There are several threads about that here too, can you point me in the right direction?
There is one pointing to creating a Hook, which I know how to do, but I miss more detailed information on what properties I should set on the hook. This: https://generatepress.com/forums/topic/change-logo-media-source-file-when-sticky/#post-304545thx
rolfMarch 20, 2019 at 9:02 am #844699LeoStaffCustomer SupportHi there,
Hook Element solution is required if you are using GP Premium 1.7.8.
However, the sticky navigation logo option has been added in the next version of GP Premium which is currently available for Alpha testing.
See the “Sticky Navigation Logo” in this article:
https://generatepress.com/gp-premium-1-8/Would you consider trying out the Alpha?
Let me know π

March 22, 2019 at 7:05 am #846621RolfHi Leo, I played around with the alpha and cant find a way to see the option to make navigation the header. The GIF in your documentation shows the option but I am not able to get there.
Can you take a look at my site?March 22, 2019 at 7:07 am #846624RolfI dont have this “Use Navigation as header” checkbox.
I deleted the navigation logo.

March 22, 2019 at 8:45 am #846701LeoStaffCustomer SupportCan you first make sure that the navigation logo is deleted, then clear your browser cache and caching plugin if you are using one?
Thanks!

April 2, 2019 at 2:19 am #856617Rolfone more question on this one – is there also a color properties section coming to the “colors” options menu in customize for sticky nav?
or needs this to be done via css?
I want to change the colors for onmouse over (background, text color) for sticky nav (using GP alpha).
thanksApril 2, 2019 at 2:23 am #856619LeoStaffCustomer SupportCan you provide the password to the site in question again so I can tell if the custom navigation colors in header element might work for you?

April 2, 2019 at 2:27 am #856623LeoStaffCustomer SupportYeah you aren’t using header element so that won’t work.
Looks like you’ve figured out the CSS though?
If not they are actually all here:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/changing-navigation-colors/Simply replace
.main-navigation
with.main-navigation.navigation-stick
April 2, 2019 at 2:29 am #856626Rolfok. So am I getting this right that there is a simpler way to enable sticky nav on scroll, that would allow doing it via customizer? (I would prefer that).
Or would that also mean that this slim header is not possible (using logo + primary nav in one section).thanks again!
