We can add margin-right to move it to the left a bit.
nav#sticky-navigation div#primary-menu {
margin-left: auto;
margin-right: 30px;
}
Adjust 30px to your preference.
Also, can you please suggest how we can have a rectangle box line to highlight a header link? for this page newsletter link.
Do you have any specific design styles (thickness, color, animation, etc)? If you can provide a mockup image of how you want it to look like, I can use it as reference for the CSS writeup.
Thanks.. I send a private msg
Thanks.. I send a private msg
Can you tell us how/where you've sent it? I don't see it on the system yet.
In case it got lost, can you use the private information text field?
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/using-the-premium-support-forum/#private-information
I send it using private information.
basically if you go to neilpatel . com you will be able to see boxes if you scroll down the website.. like in the "start a blog" , "SEO tools" wanted to see if somehow we can create headers on our header as well
These button should be doable with GenerateBlocks.
You can create a Block Element to hook to your Header or Place a GB button block on your Header Widget area depending on where you want it placed.
If you can provide us some sort of a mockup image for layout of how you want things to exactly look like, I can make use that as reference and provide you a step by step on how to do it. :D
Thanks.
I wasnt able to add an image to this post however the layout will be the same for our website for the header. There are only 3 links on the header and for one of the link, I just wanted to know how to create the rectangle box so it is highlighted.
Hi there,
you will create the 3 columns or how many you need using a GenerateBlocks Grid Block:
https://docs.generateblocks.com/article/grid-overview/
Each of the columns is its own Container that you can style:
Thanks. just to confirm will these grids work on the header as well as I want to apply border colour on one of the header links?
That really depends on what you mean by header links.
You can use any of the GenerateBlocks blocks in your posts/pages and in a Block Element.
So if you're building a 'header' or 'page hero' with a block element, then yes.
If you want to add borders to a theme element such as the Navigation then it will require some CSS.
Thanks David. Elvin was looking into this and I had send him private message with website details.
Doing a recap:
Have you sorted this out? I believe you've sent us an email but we're not receiving anything.
We'll need the mock up image of how you want things laid out. To use as reference so we may point you what can be done to achieve it.
Let us know if you still need further help. :D
I had privately messaged you however pls let me know your email address and I can email you. Thanks.
To make things faster and reduce the back and forth,
I suggest using the private information text field on this topic to provide a link to your screenshot.
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/using-the-premium-support-forum/#private-information
This way, anyone from the support team can see it. It also prevents further issues w/ mails getting lost as the screenshot itself is attached to this topic.
