Creating Our Own Site Library

Hi Tom & Team,
I’m the administrator of an ever-growing WordPress multisite instance at a university. In the same vein of my previous post I wanted to ask a related question.
Is it possible to create our own Site Library like GeneratePress Premium includes? This would be very helpful in creating sites for university departments, university faculty and then customize those sites with re-usable blocks that we discussed in the previous post.
Again, thanks much for any input you could provide. We are so happy to be making the move to GP.

It's definitely possible but would require custom coding and it's quite complicated.
