Container width

I am starting to build a new website at http://www.birding.daveb.co.uk and have set the container width to 1100px. I installed the premium plug-in and set all parameters to 'contained' and not 'full width' (as far as I can see).
Please have a look at my site and you will see the white area extend beyond the width of the body/content area. Have looked for anything obvious in the customiser and page settings with no joy. Any help will be most appreciated. Thank you

Added the CSS and it appears to have worked. Really enjoy working with the Generate Press theme. Thank you for the very quick reply and solution to the problem.
Replied too quickly without checking other pages. The css has worked for the home page, but not other pages? I've tried adding the css to eachpage, but still doesn't work. I'm using the 'Simple CSS' plugin. Thank you.
Too quick with the reply again. Re-visited the pages that were showing the container at full width and deselected the 'Full Width Page' option. Thank you.
