Thank you very much! 😀January 30, 2015 at 12:28 pm #70518Miguel
The best way to update manually?
I must deactivate the plugin, delete it and install it? or disable it and upload the zip file again?
Thanks for your help!January 30, 2015 at 12:57 pm #70534Miguel
I did it, first I deactivated the plugin, then unzipped the zip and up the GP-Premium folder overwriting files via FTP, and all are ok!

@Tom: somewhat related to Miguel’s original problem, my e-mail verifies but GP Premium shows “unverified” and clicking activate does nothing so I don’t get the automatic plugin updates.

Interesting – I’ll have to take a better look.
Can you possibly send me a temporary admin login to firstname.lastname@example.org?
I’m travelling tomorrow but will be home Monday morning and will sort it out for you 🙂March 7, 2015 at 1:58 pm #83859Dee Broughton
I have this same issue with one domain name on a server that is chock full of other domain names that use GeneratePress. I know it’s an hosting issue, but I don’t know what to tell them to look for.
I suspect it’s an issue with the new generic tlds for me, because I had odd issues running up against rules that the host needed to whitelist with other new tlds.
Can you look and see what I should maybe tell them? Sending you email with a login.April 11, 2015 at 9:01 am #97704TomLead DeveloperLead Developer
Sorry for not getting back to you sooner.
Can you manually update to the latest version of GP Premium and then try and activate your email? I believe I have this bug fixed 🙂April 11, 2015 at 2:27 pm #97822Dee Broughton
Great big sad face. Sorry, no.
I reinstalled WP, because I had given up using that domain that way. I downloaded GP Premium again from my account here. It does look quite different than it did before and says Ver. 126.96.36.199 GP and Ver 1.2.1 Premium.
I entered the email address and saved settings. However when I try to “Activate Email,” I get the error, “Email activation failed. This email does not exist in our records.”April 12, 2015 at 11:23 am #97942TomLead DeveloperLead DeveloperApril 12, 2015 at 11:26 am #97943Dee Broughton
