Hello Tom!
The best way to update manually?
I must deactivate the plugin, delete it and install it? or disable it and upload the zip file again?
Thanks for your help!

Hello Tom,
I did it, first I deactivated the plugin, then unzipped the zip and up the GP-Premium folder overwriting files via FTP, and all are ok!
Regards!

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperThat’s definitely one way π
You can also delete the plugin from your Dashboard and upload the fresh zip.

@Tom: somewhat related to Miguel’s original problem, my e-mail verifies but GP Premium shows “unverified” and clicking activate does nothing so I don’t get the automatic plugin updates.

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperInteresting – I’ll have to take a better look.
Can you possibly send me a temporary admin login to support@generatepress.com?
I’m travelling tomorrow but will be home Monday morning and will sort it out for you π

I have this same issue with one domain name on a server that is chock full of other domain names that use GeneratePress. I know it’s an hosting issue, but I don’t know what to tell them to look for.
I suspect it’s an issue with the new generic tlds for me, because I had odd issues running up against rules that the host needed to whitelist with other new tlds.
Can you look and see what I should maybe tell them? Sending you email with a login.

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperHi Dee,
Sorry for not getting back to you sooner.
Can you manually update to the latest version of GP Premium and then try and activate your email? I believe I have this bug fixed π

Great big sad face. Sorry, no.
I reinstalled WP, because I had given up using that domain that way. I downloaded GP Premium again from my account here. It does look quite different than it did before and says Ver. 1.2.9.2 GP and Ver 1.2.1 Premium.
I entered the email address and saved settings. However when I try to “Activate Email,” I get the error, “Email activation failed. This email does not exist in our records.”
