Can't upload backgrounds

For some reasons I cannot upload background images in customizer. Please help.
I have the same issue. What's wrong?
@Dani, for now I used the following work-around: export generate-background-settings, change the url to the header background and import the file again.
Thank you Monique. Unfortunately that only helps me in changing an exsiting bacground. I was trying to upload backgrounds to other positions where there is corrently no background.
Since you also have the same problem, I hope it's just a bug that can be fixed.
Hi Dani and Monique,
Do you see the options in the customizer or seeing any errors?
Can you make sure the add-ons are activated as per #4 here? https://docs.generatepress.com/article/installing-gp-premium/
Let us know.
I see the options in the customizer and yes, I do have the add-ons activated. I don't see any errors. It worked before, because I already changed a background, but when checking today, the upload button seems not to do anything.
Hi Dani,
Updating GP Premium to the latest version should fix that issue.

Let me know.
There is no button on my Generate Press to insert the lisence key? Do I now have to do it manually? I have a live online shop. I don't want it to cause problems :(
Can't I overwrite the files via ftp instead of deactivation and deleting???
I believe you can do that too. Manual update shouldn't cause problems either though.
Either way will work as long as the new files are uploaded :)
I deleted it on a another test side. Then tried to upload the file I downloaded from your site. Now it says can't install new theme, missing style.css file
GP Premium is a plugin, not a theme. This should help:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/missing-style-css/
I have a premium licence and all the add-ons installed. I don't see anywhere if I can insert a licence key or update the theme or the add-ons. I don't understand
I know, but it is up to date, or so t seems in my plugin list
