Cannot add the license key

Hello,

When I add the licence key, there is an infinite loading time on the website …
Can someone tell me how to get out of it ?

Dear David,
There are two conditions that are not let you to activate the license.
Condition 1=> There might be something like firewall or other application blocking you to connect to the generatepress.com to activate the license. It may happened due to any WordPress plugins. There is a great chance that your hosting server may blocking your WordPress to connect to the generatepress.com.
solution->Try to disable all plugins and then try to activate generate Press premium. If you are not success with this try to talk with your hosting provider and ask them is there anything blocking your site to activate the plugin.

Condition 2=> Your premium plugin might not installed properly.
Solution->try to delete the plugin and then try to install it again and then activate.

Please note – I am an user like you. mostly above things solved your problem. if not The Support team is here to assist you.

Condition 2 is met and I even recreate the whole website.

For condition 1 fowever, there are already 3 websites hosted on the same servers with generate press.
I use Hostinger. Not likely either.

try adding the license key again, then Right Click > Inspect the page, and check the Console tab in the developer tools – are there any red errors appearing ? IF so please provide a screenshot.

Again email from support is clear :

Got it,so the first issue with the 403 error, you need to contact the plugin to solve as the issue is in it recognizing the license you provided to use.

403 Errors on JSON-LD requests are simply a case that you do not have permission to access it.
Common issues that can cause it:

1. Problem with Rest API – see my request here

2. Misconfigured SSL Certificate – ie. the request is being made of HTTP when it should be HTTPS.

3. Page Caching on the Server – disable if possible.

4. Security / Firewall rules are misconfigured.

If you can share a link and login to the site your having the issues with, then i can take a closer look.
