Well somethings got a bit frazzled there.
Can you delete the Read More button altogether for the content template.
Then recheck the site to make sure the Button is gone.

If the button has gone, re-add a new button ( no copying and paste ).

I don´t have a read more button. I have an individual button in each post, because this button contains a individual link.
Please have a look at the website itself to see.

In your case, the best practice would be adding the button to the content template, using the custom field to store the button link in each post.

If you don't want to use custom field, you can also build a global style for button in GB pro, then apply it to each button in your posts. Check the post editor of the post Gastro.News for example.

The un-styled buttons issue is likely a cache issue, might've caused by how the server generates cache. I can't deactivate the server cache, so can't really test it.

Can you try the 2 solutions and let me know how it works?
