Hi David,
Thanks for the reply.
The user is set to ‘Author’ just like the others.
Again, only this individual user has these issues. At first I thought this is the way they are doing things, but having watched the video – they are doing it exactly as myself and others do – with the only difference being that GP / GB breaks.
If you spot anything they are doing to cause it please let me know. However, this bug seems to be able to be easy to replicate for this user.
I’ve created new user account to a new email and suffer the same issue.
Is there not a way to debug this?

StaffCustomer Supportso is the issue isolated to the user machine ? or the actual user ?

We’ve tried:
– Different browsers
– Different user accounts
– Different methods of adding infoDifferent machines will be test tomorrow.
I’d be curious to how know a machine could impact this?
Is this anyway to debug this?

I doubt there could be – my question was more in regards to isolating it to the user. If that user were to login to another users account on a different machine, if they still experience the problem then it must be something they are doing.
But it seems you have covered most of the bases for checking that.
Have you checked if there are any issues with the Local Pattern the user is working with ?
Do they have an issue if they don’t use that pattern ?February 15, 2023 at 8:43 am #2534394Ammar
Hi Daivd,
Thanks for the reply.
Other users, including myself use the pattern without issue. We don’t experience blocks breaking in this way.
I was convinced the user was doing it incorrectly, but after a screen share and having them record exactly how they do it – they do it correctly. They switched to writing out headlines and the pro/con section but still breaks.
This would then suggest the Local Pattern is playing up, but no-one else experiences issues when using it.
I genuinely do not know what is causing this hence quite keen to understand what exactly is causing the errors as it’s the exact same blocks everytime. But other users do not have any issues with these exact blocks.
So… if they don’t use it there is no issue. The problem is, they need to use it as it’s part of the design (it’s a product review) so for consistency, needs to be the same as other pages.
Is there anyway we can trouble shoot / identify what specifically is causing this?

StaffCustomer SupportHow was the Local Pattern provided to the user ?
February 15, 2023 at 9:53 am #2534467Ammar
It’s saved as a local pattern (it’s for the entire page which covers a ‘best x for y’ layout).
They then open up an existing post, delete all the old content and load in the pattern using /pattern

StaffCustomer SupportHave you tried replacing the local pattern ? in case it contains some issues ?
February 16, 2023 at 5:24 am #2535393Ammar
I can do this , but seem unlikley it to be the case as myself and all other use the exact same local pattern with no issue.
Furthermore, it’s not isolated this particular pattern.
Is there anything else? Is there really no debug log to see what’s happening?
February 17, 2023 at 4:03 am #2536604David
StaffCustomer SupportOK, try the following:
1. Add this to the
wp-config.phpto enable debuggingdefine( 'SCRIPT_DEBUG', true );2. Check your console for errors when the blocks break.
This should provide you some error info as to what is happening here.
