could you please explain a discrepancy between an announced and the actual price of GP Premium I’m seeing when renewing existing licence key and buying one new licence at the same time?
In the shopping cart, I see the correct 45% discount for the renewal, but the new license key costs $49.95 instead of $39 as announced at https://generatepress.com/premium/#premium Interestingly, when I remove the renewal from the cart, the price for the new license becomes $39. A bug in the shopping cart? Before fixing, I could workaround the problem by making two separate purchases.
Users who have our old $49.95 pricing will continue to receive the 40% renewal discount. For technical purposes, the checkout needs to reflect that old $49.95 price in order for the 40% renewal to work.
So, when the old renewal discount is active in the checkout, it will show the old price.
When it’s not, it will either show the full price ($59), or the discounted price ($39).
no, that’s not clear at all 🙂 Today, it’s even stranger than yesterday. Now, the shopping cart is showing a total price of $37.42 for BOTH license renewal and one new license. Now it really seems buggy. What’s the logic behind? EDIT: The purchase total at the end of the checkout page is actually $77.42 (it’s not visible on the screenshot).
I attach links to timestamped screenshots. For me, the correct price should be $27.47 + $39 = $66.47 as if I would by both products separately. That’s what the checkout page should show. Do you agree?
