StaffCustomer SupportHi Tim,
Are you able to show us the page where it’s not working?

Hi guys,
I had the same problem when updating recently. To be more specific, for every section that was enclosed in Shortcodes Ultimate animation brackets, the text wouldn’t show up. It just left the section blank. I had to quickly remove all my shortcodes for my copy to appear.
Here’s a sample page for you to see.

I hope this helps resolve the issue, as it was disconcerting to see half my site blank.
Thanks,
Ali

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperI’m seeing the animated text on that page – are you not seeing it still?

The text that is in animated brackets says “Animated content here.” Do you see that or just what I wrote above it to show the difference?

StaffCustomer SupportHi Ali,
This is what we are seeing: https://s30.postimg.org/a6h6mnuoh/animated.jpg

Hi,
Ok at least it works for visitors. That’s good.
But when I’m logged in and viewing my site it doesn’t show up.
I guess it’s not the end of the world, but it makes working on sites a bit difficult.

StaffCustomer SupportThat’s a bit weird…so if you are logged out you can see it too?
I just tested the plugin and it seems to display normally on a test page when I’m logged in.
Perhaps there is a conflict with another plugin? You can test that by disabling everything except GP Premium and Shortcodes Ultimate.

Hi guys,
Luckily it was the first plugin I disabled. It was a Code Snippets conflict of removing query strings. When I deactivated the snippet, I got the animated content back and viewable when I’m logged in.

StaffCustomer SupportThanks for testing and reporting back.
I assume if you want to use Code Snippets, you can also remove the code to remove query strings?

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperThat’s strange, you might want to report that to the plugin author – query strings are just version numbers attached to the files, they shouldn’t have any say on functionality. It may have just been a caching issue on your end?
Alternatively, you can try this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/query-strings-remover/

Thanks for all the help! But it now seems the animation shortcodes are working when I’m logged in – even with the query snippet activated. So I guess the problem is resolved.
Thanks again for your support!
