Here’s what show’s up:
Downloading update from ***
Unpacking the update…
An error occurred while updating GP Premium: Could not copy file. gp-premium/addons/generate-disable-elements/languages/generate-disable-elements.mo
Any ideas?

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperWeird – second time I’ve seen this error. It’s just a language file, but I’ll have to look into it more.
Can you contact your hosting and make sure WordPress has permission to remove/create files on your server?

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperOk, I’ll look into this more today.
For now, you can update manually by deleting the plugin and re-uploading the new .zip.
Sorry for the inconvenience!

Same problem but with
Could not copy file. gp-premium/addons/generate-disable-elements/languages/generate-disable-elements-da_DK.mo
(note this file does not exist on my server)On a Windows 2008 Server using IIS
All other updates, themes, plugins updated OK.
Doesn’t appear to be a rights issue.April 21, 2015 at 5:13 pm #101085Tom
Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperThis is a Windows hosting issue – looking into a fix. For now, you’ll have to update manually, or change over to Linux 😉

I am also not able to install the plugin zip. I get this message:
The package could not be installed. No valid plugins were found.

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperHi there,
Have you tried following the instructions here?: http://generatepress.com/knowledgebase/install-activate-addons/
Sounds like you may be trying to install the free theme as a plugin.
Let me know 🙂

I don’t think I am. I already have the free theme running. I purchased the premium plugin successfully, and then went to “download” in the menu. It downloads generatepress.1.2.9.3.zip. If there is another place to download it, I am missing where that is.
Thanks.

Ah. User error. My purchase never went through. (FWIW, on Chrome 42.0.2311.90, I got a “Stripe Token error” in checkout.)
Have successfully purchased, downloaded, and installed the correct file. Thanks.
