    Hi there,

I’ve just realised that when adding a custom font using this method..

    https://docs.generatepress.com/article/adding-local-fonts/
(including adding them to the Customizer)

..the Theme tries to find the respective Google Fonts Styles for it and adds them to the theme. (The return a 404)

How can we prevent that from happening?

    Cheers,
    Sven

    Hi there,

That shouldn’t happen by default. Did you select the font from the system fonts area of the Customizer dropdowns?

    Hi Tom,

Yes but only the one I added manually using that code snippet. No actual Google Font is selected and not added by Elementor either.

What’s the name of the font you’re using?

Via email, yes. The site’s still closed and it’s a new CI for the company so they wouldn’t appreciate finding it here ๐Ÿ˜€
