We are using one big sidebar menu, but it needs spacers, or titles or divided into two menus to make it easier to use. Is there any way to do that?

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
Can’t quite picture what you have in mind.
Any chance you have an example to show?
We can easily add bottom border below each menu item but I don’t think that’s what you are after?
Let me know 🙂

If you check out the home page of our site, on the left side bar is the menu. We wanted to divide it up so it’s easier to view mainly. The original thought twas to use two menus, each with a title at the top. https://usanunchaku.com

StaffCustomer SupportAnd what’s not working with the original thoughts?
How about something like this?
.secondary-navigation .main-nav ul li a { border-bottom: 1px solid #000; }Adding CSS: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/adding-css/

as far as I could tell, we didn’t have the option to place another side bar menu there. When we use the customizer, it doesn’t give us that option.
I’m not a big code person, but I do have some basic skills. Where would we place that code you posted, possibly in the child theme we use?August 11, 2018 at 8:31 am #645767Leo

The dividers look cool, I just placed the CSS you posted in the CSS editor, but what i really want is to be able to have two separate menus with “titles” both on the left side column. The idea is to distinguish between searching for the product by size and also wood type.

StaffCustomer SupportHave you tried using the Navigation Menu widget in sidebar instead of assigning the secondary navigation to it?
Then you can add two separate widgets.

Yes that was the first thing I tried. It just doesn’t look as cool as the menus that are generated by the theme.

StaffCustomer SupportWell I’m a bit out of solutions then.
Do you have an example of what looks good?
