I just installed the pivot theme to my new and empty website. Can I change the main image? The one with the woman and the man with the laptop in between. If so, how? I can’t find the option anywhere. And simple using another background doesn’t do anything.
July 19, 2018 at 12:14 pm #627790DavidStaffCustomer SupportHi there,
yes, the background image has been set in a Page Header – here is an overview and related articles:

September 12, 2018 at 12:36 pm #675765DannyI cannot find a Page Header section. My menu is different to the menu in the video you provided.
How else can I access the Page Header section?
Many Thanks

check in Appearance > Elements you should see a Header element there.
October 15, 2018 at 8:50 pm #701835BradHi, I’m having the same issue. I installed the Pivot theme, and I’m not seeing the Headers menu. I do not want to have to recreate all of the header templates from scratch in the elements menu. Why isn’t the Header menu showing up?

October 16, 2018 at 1:14 am #701942DavidStaffCustomer SupportHi Brad,
in GP 1.7 the new Elements Module was introduced. So they are now found under Appearance > Elements.
October 16, 2018 at 5:13 am #702096BradThanks David. So am I correct in saying I will have to recreate the Headers from scratch now, since the update?
October 16, 2018 at 5:29 am #702106DavidStaffCustomer SupportHi there,
you don’t have to, any Page Headers you built previously are in Elements > Legacy Page Headers.
If you want to get the benefits of Elements then converting them isn’t too diffiuclt:https://docs.generatepress.com/article/moving-hooks-page-headers-to-elements/
October 16, 2018 at 6:19 am #702138BradThis is a new site. I installed the GP theme, then my premium package and installed the license, installed Pivot, and imported all content and accepted all necessary modules to be made active. I even checked and the Headers and Elements modules are active. The Page Headers aren’t created, as they are in another site for which I’ve used the Pivot theme.
I have deleted the WordPress installation completely and reinstalled in various sequences, checking even before I upgraded to the new GP version, and I still don’t see any Page Headers. The Page Headers simply aren’t there.
October 16, 2018 at 6:50 am #702152DavidStaffCustomer SupportWhen you go to Appearance > Elements at the top of the dashboard there is a button for Legacy Page Headers
October 16, 2018 at 8:34 am #702347BradDavid, I’ve searched in every menu in Appearance > Elements and can’t see anything about Legacy Headers. I have attached a screenshot of the Dashboard
October 16, 2018 at 8:41 am #702357DavidStaffCustomer SupportHow did you originally add the Page Headers? Was it from within the page / post editor?
October 16, 2018 at 8:42 am #702359BradOn my other site, I added it from the Page Headers menu on the left. In this site, I have not added any headers yet. This is what I see. The headers were the first thing I tried to work on.
That Home Page header was me trying to find the legacy headers button.
October 16, 2018 at 8:46 am #702364DavidStaffCustomer SupportAah ok, so if you have none, then its the new Elements module you now use:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/header-element-overview/
They have a lot more options over the old Page Headers. Some Hero examples by Leo are here:
