Simon
Hi
I imported the “Prime” site design from the Site Library into my WordPress 6.1.1, GeneratePress Premium 2.3, WordPress Theme 3.3 & WooCommerce 7.5 set up.
I have just noticed that something has caused some duplicate/potentially conflicting WooCommerce-type pages to have been created:
Pages created = 20 Mar 2023 …
Basket (vs Cart)
Checkout
Shopvs
Cart – Basket Page (date created = 12 Feb 2019)
Checkout – Checkout Page (date created = 15 Feb 2019)
Shop – Shop page (date created = 14 Feb 2019)Please could you check if importing the “Prime” template does this, or installing the WooCommerce plugin after importing the “Prime” template does this .. or what else has caused it?
Which versions of the pages above should I keep/use?
Is it safe to delete the other versions?
Will I need to do something anywhere else (such as WooCommerce, Settings, Shop & WooCommerce, Settings, Advanced)? Many thanks in advance
Simon

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
or installing the WooCommerce plugin after importing the “Prime” template does this
I would assume this is the reason – WooCommerce should’ve been installed at the same time of importing Prime so it doesn’t need to be installed again.
Which versions of the pages above should I keep/use?
It shouldn’t matter.
Is it safe to delete the other versions?
I believe so.
Will I need to do something anywhere else (such as WooCommerce, Settings, Shop & WooCommerce, Settings, Advanced)?
I don’t believe so.
Please be mindful that the questions above are more suitable for WooCommerce’ support team as it’s related to the plugin’s functionalities which the theme doesn’t control or interfere 🙂

Hi Leo
Many Thanks for your reply. Checking back in my work diary I think it must have been caused by importing the “Prime” site, because I installed WooCommerce after GP Premium but before importing “Prime”. I was following the guidance (“Please note that WooCommerce plugin itself needs to be installed and activated before GP’s WooCommerce module can be activated”) at the bottom of the article at https://docs.generatepress.com/article/installing-gp-premium.
– May I suggest someone in the GP team adds some text to that article to warn against installing WC if you are later going to import an ecommerce site design (like “Prime”) that already includes & automatically installs WC for you.Anyway, I have deleted the newer versions of the pages (the ones not installed by the “Prime” import) and even corrected some of the slugs (shop-1 to shop) because my first install of WC had taken the first slug name.
I double-checked WooCommerce, Settings, Shop & WooCommerce, Settings, Advanced. Also checked the live web pages. All looks OK now!
