HI guys hope all is well with you! A while ago I disabled comments on the blog and ended up getting rig of the discussion section on settings. Now I would like to enable comments again, and cannot find a way to do so, as I don’t have the discussion area anymore. can you please help? thank you!

Just to confirm, are you saying that you don’t have access to the WP core discussion settings screen?
https://wordpress.org/documentation/article/settings-discussion-screen/If so this isn’t something the theme can control/hide.
Please try disabling all plugins to test.
yes i cannot see the discussion option in settings…
Then try my suggestions in the previous reply first.
It could also be a permission issue so make sure you have the admin access.
