re enabling comments

HI guys hope all is well with you! A while ago I disabled comments on the blog and ended up getting rig of the discussion section on settings. Now I would like to enable comments again, and cannot find a way to do so, as I don't have the discussion area anymore. can you please help? thank you!

Just to confirm, are you saying that you don't have access to the WP core discussion settings screen?

If so this isn't something the theme can control/hide.
Please try disabling all plugins to test.
yes i cannot see the discussion option in settings...
Then try my suggestions in the previous reply first.
It could also be a permission issue so make sure you have the admin access.
