I believe when I starteted with GeneratePress, it was possible to merge table cells. Anyway, this option is still offered in the visual menu. However, it has no effect. So what about it?

Hi there,
I believe when I started with GeneratePress, it was possible to merge table cells.
GP never had any features specific for tables – this wouldn’t be something the theme handles.
I’m not aware of a solution to merge HTML tables either – I Googled “merge tables wordpress” and saw some suggestions that might be worth considering.
