I tried to do some optimizations on the site.
– replacing png images with webp (including the logo)
– removing unused plugins (like smush)Now I can no longer see the logo on the site, under the menu bar.
– I tried to follow the indications given for autoptimize optimization, then I also deactivated it.
– generatepresse versions are all up to date.the site is https://www.altrabeneventopossibile.it

Hi Alfredo,
You have a header element which can be found at appearance > elements, can you try setting its status to draft?

I write this observation that cleared up my confusion, in the hope that it will be useful to someone.I was able to restore the logo at the top of the site by uploading it to the Site logo section of the Header Element.
When I do this, the Customizer’s Logo function seems to work: by removing or adding the logo here, it disappears or reappears at the top of the site
