Hello,
I created a Hero on Blog Posts on my website, following instructions described and shown in your video here
And it works fine. I also made some little changes concerning colors and little things, but I strictly followed your valuable instructions ( I am not a coder). Now in different blog posts such as here
https://www.pistakkio.net/marketing/paste-app-di-wetransfer/
or here
The (featured) images are not centered inside the Block Element I created. They are not the same size. I would like to know if I must set these images as a fixed size or if there is a method to display them centered and automatically resized, so that they are correctly displayed, in the Hero.
ThanksDecember 9, 2021 at 6:13 am #2043507DavidStaffCustomer SupportHi there,
are you wanting them positioned like in the Video or behind the Content ?
December 9, 2021 at 8:36 am #2043787FabrizioHi,
I like the picture behind the content, so as it is now, with a transparency, as I have set it, now is 0.7 on 1, that is 70% transparent.December 9, 2021 at 11:34 am #2043936YingStaffCustomer SupportHi there,
As you can see here, you set the image size to
1040
but without a unit, so it’s an invalid value, try change it to1040px
.You can also try other values, such as
cover
, so it covers the entire block.December 10, 2021 at 12:50 am #2044412FabrizioHere is the setting we are talking about (also for other people, who read):
I cannot set up the “px” inside the field, for it is already set top right and is not changeable.
Also the field has only the space for 4 characters.
Finally I cannot input other characters than numbers.
I don’t know why…December 10, 2021 at 4:12 am #2044565DavidStaffCustomer SupportSee here:
You need to edit the Background settings of the Container.
1. Disable the Advanced Background option first. You can then see the settings below that.
2. The Image Size – select a larger size eg. Medium large or you will display a 150px square cropped image.
3. The Size is incorrect. Delete the1040
and addcover
– this will make the image fill the space available.December 10, 2021 at 5:04 am #2044613FabrizioThanks, it works fine now, after I’ve flushed the cache. Your help is great!
I am very thankful of your help!
Now I have to find a good aspect ratio for all the featured images, but I can work on it and tell then.
Absolutely Landscape format and minimum 1200 x 675 as stated in the Media Library
We can close the case.December 10, 2021 at 5:20 am #2044626DavidStaffCustomer SupportGlad we could be of help!!!
