Hi,
I’m using Google Web Stories WordPress Plugin (https://wp.stories.google/).
I’ve been through the other posts in the forum. And I can’t get things to display how I’d like. I don’t want to do anything fancy. I haven’t seen these issues in the comments so I’m perplexed as to what to do.
For example, on the homepage, the web stories appear exactly how I’d like: https://epiphanycourses.com (three columns, inside each story it includes the poster image, story title, and author). I did this with the Gutenberg web stories block.
Using the same Gutenberg web stories block on a blog page, example: https://epiphanycourses.com/marketing-communication-strategy/ (I see three columns, title and author, but no poster image, so it looks like a grey box) I cleared the cache, it appears like this in Firefox, Safari, and Chrome.
Then, on the web stories archive page: https://epiphanycourses.com/web-stories/ It’s kind of a mess right now. I was able to disable the sidebar and content title in Elements (Layout). But the poster image is separate from the web story so it’s like huge images, with a little story in between. If it could display like the homepage or if disabling the featured image in Elements layout could disable the poster image that would work too.
I stopped making web stories because of these issues, but they were great for SEO when I made them. I would really love to be able to show them off a little bit and right now it just doesn’t seem fully compatible with GeneratePress.
Thanks, Jen
